commerce park in the alps

a sloped property in the alps: this is the place where the three municipalities of aldrans, lans and sistrans want to initiate a new kind of commerce park. the development scheme which we had to adopt to had already been set up by office wiesflecker.

the building is the new headquaters for world direct services. the “looped structure”, set forth by the development plan, is continued in the building itself. one half of the building is nestling against the terrain, including the office and workshop areas, the other half is sunken into the terrain and connected by bridges, containing a conference hall and a security server room.
